I've been asked several times "So Ray, what's the story behind goodtimes?"  So, I decided to post this blog, mostly because it's just a great story (at least to my wife and me it is). Here it goes... As most of you know my wife is a teacher. She is always coming home and sharing funny stories about the kids. These stories are always much more amusing to her than they are to me. Well, all except the stories about Justin. About 4 or 5 years ago she had a student named Justin. I loved hearing about that kids wild antics. The things he would say were just so witty for a 7 year old! So one day my wife tells me that Justin topped himself with the story he had told her that day. He said " Mrs. Santana I'm really tired today." And my wife in her maternal concern , asked him, "why", thinking maybe he had a nightmare or something of the sort. He said "actually Mrs. Santana, my big brother was sleeping in my bed and he pissed all over me." Now here comes the clincher...at the end of that matter of fact statement, he shook his head, drew in a long breath, and said...goodtimes. So ever since then my wife and I pepper everyday sentences with gooodtimes. Here are a few: The dog has diarrhea...goodtimes... That was a great dinner...goodtimes. Well you guys get the picture. Oh, and if you are wondering why I spell it the way I do, well that's the way Justin would write it on his notes to my wife because he knew the phrase amused her. The phrase just spilled over into my writing when I started to blog. Justin will never really know how he infused humor in our lives...goodtimes

The Mike Colón XI 4-day Intensive
05/18/09 to 05/21/09

Ok short and to the point!!
As some of you may know, I've known Mike Colón for many years now. I have been blessed to
shoot with him all over the world. Just to mention a few NYC, Aruba, Puerto Rico Paris,
Monaco, Italy, Tuscany, Florence, Miami Fl, West Palm Beach, Toronto Canada, Santa Barbara,
all over California.

Yes, there are a lot of workshops and seminars out there, many good ones, but few great ones.
To say his is one of the great ones would be an understatement.
At Mike's Workshop you will meet amazing people from all over the US and possibly abroad! You will build up the most incredible portfolio. Listen, I can just go on and on. I've come a long way and a lot of it has to do with me going to Mike's workshop many years ago. I promise you a lot of the popular photographers you see out there, have gone through Mike Colón.

If there is a workshop you've been waiting for all year, look no further guys, this is it.
If you are ready to step up to the plate and soak up priceless knowledge the time is now. Everyone knows times are a bit tough now, but that is even more reason to attend! Mike is a marketing wizard and he will share his amazing tips with you during this workshop. Don't miss out on this opportunity!

I can second Ray's review here. Mike's workshop is totally worth the investment. I have built (and continue to do so) so many incredible relationships from my experience in 2007. Do yourself a favor and register. You will not be disappointed.

I couldn't agree more with David and Ray. I took Mike's workshop in 1997. I had heard Mike speak multiple times before, but it didn't matter. This workshop really takes all of Mike's beliefs on the wedding photography business and lays it out in an informative yet easy to understand format! The best part is how laid back Mike is. He is more than accessible and you won't meet a cooler family! I was amazed how he never "turned off" for lack of a better word. There were nights that we were scheduled till 9 PM or so, and he was still going well past that. If you truly want to invest in your business and meet some other amazing photographers who will friends for years to come, you can't go wrong with this workshop!

Well this is a great course. In fact that is me in the background making sure I can keep up with Mike and the great angles and images he produces. Mike totally rocks and gives a lot of himself and his techniques. i have only ever attended three workshops and 2 of them were for Mike Colon.
I flew from the Uk for both of them and Mike has helped me deliver and get more high end brides.
If you invest in one thing this year, do this. T the Brit
